As the sky turned from pink to purple, as dusk settled around them, They rounded a rock outcropping and were surprized to find a fire and slowly cooking over it was a haunch of deer.

will travel to the sorcerer's castle... it is a long walk yet, and still filled with danger. We will need all our wits about us, as the way is still filled with people who would be happy to see us fail to reach our destination.

After the meal the new companions sat around the fire, telling stories and getting to know one another until the flagon of wine was long gone. As Cheera & the seeker lay thier heads down and let sleep over take them, Dirk slipped off to the edge of the woods, kepping the firelight behind him he settled in for a long night of watching for unseen enemies.

A fog started forming in the seekers sleeping mind, an image of an old sorcer peering down at her, she imagined a grizzled old voice warning her....
